The Electrolab Tablet Friability Tester Model EF – 1W has been designed to meet the increasing demand of the documentation, speed throughput and ease of operation. EF – 1W complies with the specifications laid down in current USP and another pharmacopoeia. The design allows the front loading of the drum and auto discharge of the test samples without opening or removing the drum from its axis.The unit supports AD Drum^TM as well as Abrasion Drum. The 10⁰ tilt facility of the drum with the bench top is provided as per USP.

The microprocessor based EF – 2 Friabilator is designed to meet USP, IP, EUR and DAB Pharmacopoeia. A Unique design allows filling and auto discharging of test samples without opening or removing the drums from its axis. The unit supports Electrolab AD Drum's^TM as well as Abrasion Drums. It has a unique front loading system, which allows up to two drums to be loaded simultaneously on the instrument and they can be held in position by a snap lock knob.

EF – 2 offers a counter and timer mode of operation. At the end of the test, samples are automatically discharged into their individual trays. After discharging the samples, the drum automatically positions itself for loading new samples. The drums are rotated at a constant speed of 25 RPM. The 10⁰ tilt facility of the drum with the bench top is provided as per USP.
