| Flow Sciences Fan/Filter units
are designed to work in one housing to pre-treat and decontaminate
exhaust from workstations and small containment devices before exiting
to the general laboratory exhaust or recirculating back into the laboratory.
Flow Sciences filtration systems
are available in a unique Fan/Filter unit that can be connected
by a 10.2 cm (4") or 15.2 cm (6") ventilation hose to
our VBSE models or 3000 series containment workstations.
These units can be placed above, behind
or below a containment station to eliminate noise and for ease of
filter removal.
Each unit has an adjustable variable
speed control. This allows your enclosure to be adjusted to
meet the standards of your laboratory. |

Model 4000
& 4010
Single fan/filter housings.
The 4000 unit operates on a 10.2 cm (4") ventilation pipe
system. The 4010 operates using a 15.2 cm (6") ventilation
system.
Some of Flow Sciences' customers
have expressed an interest in having a direct HEPA filter load
meter. In response to these requests, Flow Sciences now
offers the
FS1001 Minihelic Pressure Gauge.

Model
4500 & 4510
Dual fan/filter housings
for operating with multiple filters. Two different
filters can be used in tandem. For example, the top filter
may remove dust while the bottom filter removes an acid vapors.
The combination varies according to your laboratory application.
The 4500 operates with
a 10.2 cm (4") ventilation hose. The 4510 is designed
for a 15.2 cm (6") system.
Stainless
Steel Fan/Filter Housing
Flow
Sciences offers a Stainless Steel Fan/Filter Housing. Like
our standard Fan/Filter Housings, our stainless models are for
pre-treating and decontaminating exhaust from workstations and
small containment devices before going to the general exhaust
or recirculating into the laboratory. The series FS4000SS
Stainless Steel Fan/Filter Housing resists chemical attack and
cleans easily. Constructed of 16 gauge stainless steel,
this addition to the Flow Sciences product line is heavier to
minimize vibration and is even quieter than the standard Fan/Filter
Housing. This unit is available in both single and dual
filtration and it fits all Flow Sciences Filters.
